I want to state at the outset that I make no claim to any great wisdom. I've lived 60 years. That's where any expertise comes from. If I give an opinion, it's from me. If I feel like God has given some insight, I'll mention that.
I'm a Christian and my worldview is from a Christian perspective. I believe the Bible to be the Word of God. I only accept bottom line statements from the Bible. All other opinions, including mine of course, are considered but not accepted without thought. That's how people should think about my statements.
I'm happily married (40+ years), I have four kids, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson. It's a good life.
So--why this blog? I have found a benefit in writing my thoughts down. I have to think about them that way. Also, looking back on what I wrote some time later, I am either embarrassed or happily reminded of a good thought. :-)
